The following chart is the Total Confirmed New Siouxland COVID-19 Cases by Week. This data is for Dakota County, NE; Plymouth and Woodbury County, IA; and Union County, SD.

The 243 total case count for the week reflects the number of new cases that were identified. The Iowa Department of
Public Health changed their reporting to reflect the date the test was taken and not the date the report was received.
The cases effected by this change would be linked back to previous weeks.*

As of Monday, August 24, 2020, there were 6,753 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the tri-state area. Charts for April, May, June, and July can be found, here!

*The increase of cases on 8/19 is the result of changes in reporting by the IDPH (see note above).

Counties include Woodbury and Plymouth, Iowa; Dakota, Nebraska; and Union, South Dakota. Composite data compiled by Source For Siouxland from Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota Health Departments, Siouxland District Health Department, and the Dakota County Health Department.
